I am an independent consultant and a part-time doctoral candidate (DBA) at Bristol Business School, University of the West of England.
I have worked in the book trade for twenty-five years, initially as a bookseller and then in online content development for Ottakar’s Plc. In 2005, I moved to the publishing side of the business as a marketing manager at Little, Brown, and went on to hold a series of senior marketing, digital and strategy roles there and at Little, Brown’s parent company Hachette UK.
From 2014-16, I earned an MBA with Distinction from Bayes Business School at City, University of London (formerly Cass). I am also an alumnus of the Yale Publishing Course, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a Freeman of the City of London and a Liveryman of the Stationers Company, where I serve as Sector Champion for Publishing.
I live in Wiltshire with my wife and daughters.
Please arrange a call with me if you would like to discuss any aspect of my work.
